On our Needles January 2016

Now that the holidays are over, we're finding time to get some knitting done.

Babs is managing to sneak in a few rows of knitting here and there in between training Oliver and watching him grow. She has socks started in two separate skeins of Masquerade Hot Shot (to help show off the potential differences in this colorway), as well as a hat in Scarlet Letter Kunlun.

Veronica is knitting Simee Dimeh for Stitches West in the Favorite Boots Eastern Slope Polydactyl Set. It's going pretty quickly, which is good because it will be show time soon!

Helen has super secret test knitting which we can't show here.

Jennifer is knitting Lelly in Night Lights Yowza, and a hat in Believable Kaweah

We may have talked Ivy into trying socks, and she just might be hooked. Ivy just finished her first ever pair of socks in Hot Shot! Three cheers for Ivy!

Are you going to be snowed in this weekend? What projects do you have picked out to keep you busy (and warm)?

I just started the 3 color cashmere cowl using Sojourn Matar, Perfectly Wreckless, and Comfortable Arms. Yum.

All these socks look great! I am going to cast on a poncho with a skein of Perfectly Wreckless that is calling to me, so that I can have a mindless alternative to a colorwork yoked sweater I am working on with Wolves Den. I am also hoping they are kidding about a Snow Day.
