New Samples for Stitches West 2016

New Samples for Stitches West 2016

It's a new year and we have new project ideas to share! Our amazing team of sample knitters has helped us create beautiful new garments that we'll be delighted to show off for the first time at Stitches West (February 18-21 in Santa Clara, CA).

Jujuy

Jujuy by Joji Locatelli

One of two new Joji Locatelli shawls that we are bringing to our first show of 2016. Jujuy is that wonderful crescent shape created with subtle textures that offers a canvas for you to play with colors. We've chosen three unique neutrals, but you could go for brights, jewels, pastels, gradient, tonal, you name it! Jujuy is shown in Yummy 2-Ply in Cacao, Field Mouse, and Oyster.

Southern Spirit

Southern Spirit by Joji Locatelli

This Joji stole is a stripy chevron rectangle that you can drape, wrap, and snuggle into no matter what is on your schedule. It looks great across your shoulders over a cami or summer dress, and it partners with your cold weather clothing too. This is another opportunity to showcase your favorite color combination, or branch out with new choices. Southern Spirit is knit in Yet, shown here in Oxidized Silver and Muslin.

Cala Luna

Cala Luna

We love sweaters that flatter without tricky knitting or finishing techniques, and Cala Luna can be knit with just two skeins in the first two sizes! This bold colorblock sweater is knit in Yowza, shown here in Oyster and Sweet Pea.

Herald

Herald by Janina Kallio

This asymmetrical shawl will allow you to knit up ALL of that gorgeous skein into a shape you can wear over lots of your wardrobe. Easy knitting for car, public trans, knit night, or any "sit-uation". We chose a skein of Yowza in Sea Life to create Janina Kallio's Herald, but you could use Keira, Yummy 2-Ply, Tarte, or Caroline.

Divvy

Divvy by JumperCables

The poncho is a hot accessory that is easy to knit and wear! Divvy is chic and classy in lightweight Katahdin, shown here in one of our new colors, Stonewashed. The simple lines will work with both subtle and bold color selections. It's NOT your 70's poncho!

Simee Dimeh

Simee Dimeh

Romi's shawls are always a joy for the eyes and the knitter's hands! Simee Dimeh features bands of texture and color, lace and mosaic knitting. It will make you smile each time you wear this beautiful triangle. Our Favorite Boots Polydactyl Sets have all the colors you need, or you can choose your own set from our many Yummy 2-Ply Toes.

Kate's Poncho

Kate's Poncho

We first became aware of this quick knit at a trunk show, and loved the way it looks great on everyone! The knitting is easy but not boring with quick results. This is a smaller poncho that takes the chill off your shoulders in the spring and fall. This is perfect for all our DK bases - Kaweah, Kunlun, Northumbria DK, or even Yowza. Our version of Kate's Poncho is knit in Sugar Kaweah.

Poly Chevron Cowl in a Gradient Set & pop color

Poly Chevron Cowl by Jennifer Krause

The Poly Chevron Cowl is a free pattern with endless color choices! This time we are highlighting one of our new Gradient Sets (in Ursa Major) and a fresh new yellow-orange, Saffron, for a trendy, graphic cowl. You can plug in your favorite colors and create YOUR new favorite cowl.

 Black to the Fuchsia

Black to the Fuchsia

Black to the Fuchsia is a long, colorful asymmetrical triangle from Casapinka to spotlight your favorite Miss Babs Gradient Set. Garter stitch and slipped stitches make for relaxing knitting time as you work from tip to picot bind off on the short edge. This is a beautiful way to knit your favorite color mixed with a neutral.

Mira

Mira

Mira has an easy relaxed fit and a wide range of sizes. We chose Tarte in Half Past Midnight, but it will look gorgeous in your favorite Babette as well!

We're also bringing new samples in Caroline for you to see and feel - check out our post about Caroline to see these accessories.

Stitches will be here in just a week! We can't wait to see everyone and enjoy some California sunshine.
