Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Gratitude!

Merry Christmas to everyone! Holiday Greetings to all!

Silent gratitude isn't much use to anyone. ~G.B. Stern

I found this phrase a few years ago when I was thinking about having a year-end sale as a way of thanking my customers for their support over the past year.  There is something about being a small business owner and at the end of the year, if things are still going, you tend to be grateful. This year is no different.  We are still going and I am grateful for that.

Many of you know that we, my employees and I, went through a horrible loss of most of our inventory and worked our a...s off since July 19. I can't imagine having more supportive employees who jumped in and worked as hard as I did to get ourselves back up and running.  They have continued to work hard to get us back up to a more normal level inventory since.

I don't talk much about my husband here, but he is incredibly supportive of me and the business.  He keeps the house in order and food on the table, especially when I am doing long days in the studio.  We laugh about how bad a housekeeper I am and thankfully his mother, bless her soul, taught him to clean.

Other things to be grateful for? There are many people and things that have fallen into place this year.  We all have our own gratitude list.  I learned long ago to daily list things I was grateful for...I guess that would be counting your blessings, eh!?

So the sale is simply 20% off everything on the website. The shopping cart will show the reduced prices.  The sale is from Christmas Day until midnight on December 31, 2010.

Just to add a picture to the post....here is some yarn I dyed last week in the "Day at" style.  These colors are definitely one of a kind and not repeatable. I absolutely adore how they knit up.
