Rhinebeck and SAFF - Coming up Fast!

Autumn is here and two big shows are coming very soon! We are dyeing like crazy to have lots of beautiful yarns for you. Here is some yarn drying in the studio...

And some yarn waiting to be twisted...

Of course we’ll have lots and lots of your favorites - we are practically bursting with gorgeous skeins of Yowza and Yummy - but Rhinebeck will be the first place you can see Katahdin, our new light fingering weight BFL in giant 1750-yard skeins. Looking for a quick colorful project? We’ll have lots of yarn sets for the Albers Cowl and Leftie shawlette. We have a new color combo for the Albers Cowl, too - featuring Deep Sea Jellyfish.

We are dyeing as much Heartland as we can in honor of Ysolda’s Pumpkin Ale cardigan and new book, The Rhinebeck Sweater. We will also be taking orders for sweater quantities of Heartland at the show, so if we don’t have enough of the color you want - don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here's just one of the bins that we're twisting up for you!

So for the details...

The New York State Sheep and Wool Festival, AKA Rhinebeck, will be held at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY on October 19-20. Come see us in the same spot as last year, Building C, booths 25-26. We’ll have lots of everything you know and love from Miss Babs, as well as a special Rhinebeck colorway (in limited quantities each day). We can’t wait!

The Southeastern Animal Fiber Festival, our last show of the year, will be held in Asheville, NC on October 25-27in the McGough Arena. Our big booth will be full of all our yarns, fibers, and kits, as well as a few destash items and a special SAFF colorway. This is our “home show” and it holds a special place in all our hearts… we’d love to see you there!
