We love gradients and we love seeing what people create with them. We're also developing a growing interest in weaving... so when Benjamin Krudwig, the digital media manager for Schacht Spindle Company, got in touch and asked to collaborate on a gradient weaving project, we were excited!

Miss Babs Staff November Hat-AlongOctober 22, 2015

We had fun making our Rhinebeck sweaters but we decided smaller projects were a better idea for November! Hats are great small projects that go quickly and are also wonderful for holiday gifts. With all the hustle and bustle around the studio this past month, we've still managed to whip up a big stack of hats.

Poly Chevron Cowl Color IdeasOctober 22, 2015

I created the Poly Chevron Cowl as a way to bring together the colors in our Polydactyl Sets for an accessory that's easy to knit and wear. This cowl is knit in the round, using a provisional cast on, and the two ends are grafted together.

I got a chance to play with some yarn this morning and put together some other color combinations that might make a great Poly Chevron Cowl - check them out!
