Alpine Water Shawl

Designed by Hanna Maciejewska

The Alpine Water Fern, the inspiration for this shawl, emerges from the earth with bright pink-red-salmon fronds that change to a deep glossy green with the warming spring temperatures. This small cute shallow crescent shawl features a fern-like lace border. Worked from one end to the other and shaped with short rows, this is a fun, fast, and satisfying project. Just like its namesake the fern, it’ll adapt with you as you wear it close during the cooler days and toss it over shoulders as the temperature rises.

What You'll Need:

You'll need one skein of Caroline to complete this project. Although the original colorway, Quince Blossom, is not available, we think the project would look stunning in any shade of Caroline, and have some suggestions below!
