Festive Yarn Set

This set includes 25 different 80-yard mini skeins in your choice of Yummy 2-Ply or Avon - a total of 2000 yards of yarn.

You will receive one each of 25 different tonal colorways, created by the Miss Babs team to work together in a fade or gradient - they will transition from one color to the next. This set is an outgrowth of Helen's love of historical fashion, featuring a warm, colorful palette of rich embroidery shades. The yarns in this set are all monochromatic. This set traverses the rainbow and back again.

Together with your yarn (individually wrapped and numbered), you'll also receive a notions kit (each piece of which will be wrapped with a different day's yarn) and project bag. 

Each set is available in your choice of Yummy 2-Ply or Avon. Yummy 2-Ply is our versatile superwash Merino fingering weight, while Avon is a slightly lighter blend of fine Merino wool and silk. Because Avon has not been superwash treated, it takes colors just a shade lighter than Yummy 2-Ply.

The second picture shows our inspiration, and the third photo shows a partial selection of colors included in the set. This photo also shows the textural and tonal differences in the yarn bases, with Yummy 2-Ply shown on top, and Avon shown on the bottom.

We've put together this set to work with Ambah O'Brien's Festive KAL 2022 (Ravelry link). Of course, you can do whatever you wish with the yarn!

Festive Yarn Sets will ship in their own boxes, together with a new Miss Babs project bag and a notions kit.

Please order separately from other items. All patterns are sold separately and not included with the purchase of yarn.

Yummy 2-Ply is 100% superwash merino wool (machine washable on gentle, dry flat); Avon is 85% 19.5 micron Merino wool, 15% silk (hand wash, dry flat). Both yarns are fingering weight, but Avon is a little finer than Yummy 2-Ply.
