This pattern isn't difficult but it is FUN. A slipped stitch with varying solid rows in between allows the yarn do the work and a simple lace repeat at the end adds some contrast. Yarn is carried up the neck edge for the entire project. One color of yarn is worked at a time. The sunsets in Albuquerque, reflecting back on the Sandias are simply beautiful. Get yourself a Golden Pride breakfast burrito, sit back and enjoy the view (or knit in Rhode Island with an Iggy's clam cake and a Dunkin Donuts coffee and pretend, like I do now.) This pattern was designed for one skein each of a variegated and solid sock/fingering weight yarn.
You'll need one skein each of two colors in a fingering weight yarn (like Yummy 2-Ply, Woodbury, or Caroline) to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below - or try another color combination from our selection of 2-Ply Duos or Caroline Duos!
You can purchase the pattern for Albuquerque Sunset directly from the designer on Ravelry. All patterns are sold separately and not included with purchase of yarn.
