Damask-a-descent

Woven from our new yarn - Damask! Using two colors that live near each other on the color wheel gives this scarf iridescence that moves between faded red and warm yellow. The fabric is soft, cool and dry. Silk and linen both get better and better with wearing and washing. Simple linear texture combines with a subtle, muted sheen in this summer scarf. Level up a sundress or elevate a simple tee with this scarf.

Each Loop is created by hand on a rigid heddle loom using a variety of yarns, hand-dyed at Miss Babs. When I’m planning, weaving, and finishing, my goal is to create something unique, wearable and that brings a smile to your face! I weave almost every day, and I especially love to weave outside - a loom with a view! I’m inspired by the colors I see, and combining colors is endlessly fascinating.
