Florence Evening

Rich sunset hues kissed by some lingering sky blue. The colors are softened by the mist-colored weft yarn. The color layout is pleasing and complex, unusual but classic. This expansive wrap is woven in mostly Woodbury and Yearning, which both blend merino and silk, with just a pop of Dulcinea in the pretty sky blue stripes. The fabric is light and slightly crisp with drape that makes it easy to wrap in lots of ways. It measures 16x78” with  7.5 inch twisted fringe.

Warp Fiber Content: 65% Merino Wool, 35% Tussah Silk and 70% Merino, 15% Cashmere, 15% Silk

Each Loop is created by hand on a rigid heddle loom using a variety of yarns, hand-dyed at Miss Babs. When I’m planning, weaving, and finishing, my goal is to create something unique, wearable and that brings a smile to your face! I weave almost every day, and I especially love to weave outside - a loom with a view! I’m inspired by the colors I see, and combining colors is endlessly fascinating.
