Named for Ansel Adams’ iconic black and white photography style. Black dots and dashes appear over the natural undyed cream of the yarn. Sometimes Ansel has lots of black, sometimes very little. For an even bolder black and white effect, choose Graphic.
This colorway is a Babette: every skein and every batch is a bit different, but Babs has a method of recreating these artistic colorways. The photograph is an example of representative skeins from this colorway; the skein you receive may differ somewhat.
We love the texture of this 3-ply 100% Superwash Merino, produced entirely in the United States. Kaweah has a somewhat rustic character, with occasional unevenness in the plies; however, it is round, bouncy, and works up into beautifully defined and balanced stitches.
