Hydrangea Bouquet is 2021's first special colorway for the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. This bouquet is moody, with soft dried-flower tans and pinks beneath pops of rich shadowy blue, murky greenish-brown, and lively splashes of acid green and fuchsia pink.Skeins of Hydrangea Bouquet will be difficult to match in large quantities - please be aware of this when ordering! We'll do our best to match multiple skeins. If you have a color you'd prefer to see more of, please let us know in the notes at checkout.
This colorway is a Babette: every skein and every batch is a bit different, but Babs has a method of recreating these artistic colorways. The photograph is an example of representative skeins from this colorway; the skein you receive may differ somewhat. If you have any questions about the color, please give us a call or email to ask for a photo - we are always happy to describe our current batch for you to make sure it meets your needs!
Somewhere between a true laceweight and a fingering weight, we think of Yet as a 'rustic' lace yarn, even though it's a sophisticated merino and silk blend. The slightly heavier grist of this yarn means it's easy to work with, especially for newer lace knitters. Yet wears well and continues to look good year after year. Try it in shawls and lightweight sweaters.
