Heartland is soft and cushy, fantastic for all kinds of accessories, as well as anything worn next to the skin. It is NOT superwash and is great for any of your felting projects. This yarn can also be knit at a DK gauge.

Size: 250 yd / 4 oz (228m / 115g) skeins
Content: 100% Merino wool
Gauge: Worsted weight. 4-5 stitches per inch on US 6-8.
Care Instructions: Hand wash, dry flat.

Heartland is a lofty, woolen-spun, merino, non-superwash yarn with low twist. Due to the construction of this yarn, there is likely to be pilling in high abrasion areas such as underarms and bust. Shaving/de-pilling may be necessary to improve the appearance of the finished garment after wearing. Please note that this is common for yarns of this composition and construction - the very things that make the yarn super soft and squooshy can influence its performance.
