Flower Boxes - Killington 350 - Babette

Flower Boxes is our special 2022 colorway for Babs' birthday.Inspired by the exuberant cascades decorating summertime windows, Flower Boxes begins with a gentle peach base, speckled with bright green, flashes of hot yellow, orange and pink, and cool shades of teal and purple.

This colorway is a Babette: every skein and every batch is a bit different, but Babs has a method of recreating these artistic colorways. The photograph is an example of representative skeins from this colorway; the skein you receive may differ somewhat. This yarn is speckled: it has a tonal-colored background shade peppered with small dark specks and spots of dye. Each skein is different in terms of speckle distribution and placement. We will do our best to choose multiple skeins that coordinate well.

Killington

Killington is a lofty DK weight blend of Polwarth wool and Tussah silk. It has a subtle sheen, a slightly crisp hand, and excellent wearing qualities. We love Killington for all sorts of sweaters and big squishy shawls and wraps.

Size: 350 yd / 4.2 oz (320m / 120g) skeins
Content: 85% Polwarth wool, 15% Tussah silk.
Gauge: DK weight. 5.25-6 stitches per inch knit on US 5-7, 3-4 stitches per inch crocheted on US 7-I.
Care Instructions: Hand wash, dry flat.
