This spring Miss Babs has teamed up with Lynn at Blue Spring Craft to create a wonderful, one-of-a-kind collaboration--a skein of Yowza with a coordinating project bag. This collection includes one teal On the Go bag and one skein of Yowza in the Splashy colorway.
Each bag is handcrafted in Lynn's Florida studio and features sturdy harness leather, waxed canvas, and an exclusive Miss Babs logo on the front.
Teal lovers, this one's for you! Splashy was developed for our 2021 collaboration with Blue Spring Craft. Shades of teal from light to dark mix with pops of cool purple and green in this variegated colorway.

About the Bag:
The On the Go bag is the perfect size to take your projects anywhere. This medium size bag is big enough to carry a large shawl project, a small sweater, or your lunch. The pockets inside hold your tools and your phone. The top is secured with a magnetic snap, so it will close even when it’s very full. A harness leather and swivel snap closure cinches the bag closed when you want to keep your project a secret. Two harness leather handles make it easy to grab when you’re running out the door. Made to stand up when you put it down, the On the Go bags are made to last with fully enclosed seams to protect your treasures.

A little bit about waxed canvas:
Waxed canvas began as oilcloth in the 1800s, when sailors added linseed oil to their sails to better catch the wind. Since the 1930s, wax has been used to make cotton canvas water resistant. Natural and renewable, waxed canvas is a fabric invention that has been successfully adapted for many uses over the years.
Care Instructions:
Waxed canvas develops a patina over time, as the wax takes on the patterns of use.
Waxed canvas is water resistant, but not waterproof. Please don’t expose to heat or iron. The best way to clean dirt on waxed canvas is with water. Stains or spots may be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap. Rinse and air dry.
