Back to the studio after our week off!! Many of us went to the beach with family, some of us went to the mountains with friends, and some of us did the Staycation. It sounds like we all had a pretty good time, got rested and relaxed!
And now! It's time to start getting ready for SSK over in Nashville, TN in mid-July and Stitches Midwest in Schaumburg, IL in early August!! Come see us! We'll be doing some new things and have some new colors and project ideas which we will reveal as we get closer!

In the meantime, let's do a giveaway! The giveaway is one skein of Hot Shot! Color is winner's choice! Leave a comment about what summer knitting you are doing (or not doing) here on the blog by midnight PST on June 23. We'd love it of you can include the name of the pattern, 'cause we like to know what people are knitting!
Edited to Add: I've just emailed the winner. Congratulations, Chanda! We hope you enjoy your Hot Shot!

Knitting socks using Miss Babs SAFF 2014! I’ve also hooked a rug with yarn and knit two lace shawls….too many WIP’s to count. It’s time to start thinking about SAFF 2015.
I’m currently knitting an Ashburn shawl by Melanie Berg & Pat Mencini’s Boyfriend Cardigan – hoping to get them finished before the end of summer. Just finished my Rose City Roller socks & browsing Rav for my next socks :)
Knitting a quadratic shawl using Miss Bab’s Cosmic in Biker Chick to sparkle in a field of steel gray yarn. Looks Fab!
And gotta restart a sweater for DD, headed off to cold country and needs a wool sweater!
Working on my 1st crochet blanket ever… Bear’s Rainbow Blanket! Need 108 squares! Have 70+ inner squares done so far. :-)
I’m currently working on my very first pair of socks (just vanilla ones), a Frostline for my super cold office, and a See You in September shawl. I just finished a Brickless in Perfectly Wreckless, too! It’s beautiful!
Now that my hiking challenge is completed, I can finally devote more time to knitting. I am learning brioche this summer and trying to finish up several cowls before starting projects with my Rhinebeck yarns including Miss Babs Yowza.
I’m working on A Day To Remember with Isadora. Hoping to wear it to New York Sheep and Wool.
I am just finishing up the Sunny Baby Blanket using Spud and Chloe sweater. It is a free pattern on Ravelry. I will then quickly knit up the baby guppy hat to match which is also a free pattern on Ravelry. I am giving these as a gift at a baby shower.
I’m working on the Crossover Top by Paton’s in cotton and my Atlantic Current socks in Gynx yarn. That’s about all the knitting I can handle during the heat of summer. Small stuff.
Working on a Halfway Wrap, using a redirected Dynamic Duo (Joan of Arc and something black-ish — label is around here somewhere); checking and rechecking the website for ideas for a Lilli Pilli (hint, hint).
