Back to the studio after our week off!! Many of us went to the beach with family, some of us went to the mountains with friends, and some of us did the Staycation. It sounds like we all had a pretty good time, got rested and relaxed!
And now! It's time to start getting ready for SSK over in Nashville, TN in mid-July and Stitches Midwest in Schaumburg, IL in early August!! Come see us! We'll be doing some new things and have some new colors and project ideas which we will reveal as we get closer!
In the meantime, let's do a giveaway! The giveaway is one skein of Hot Shot! Color is winner's choice! Leave a comment about what summer knitting you are doing (or not doing) here on the blog by midnight PST on June 23. We'd love it of you can include the name of the pattern, 'cause we like to know what people are knitting!
Edited to Add: I've just emailed the winner. Congratulations, Chanda! We hope you enjoy your Hot Shot!

It is the summer of socks and shawls for me! Wound up my yowza whimsical skein last night to cast on yowza weigh it shawl #3 :) can’t wait to cast on. And this is my first babs skein. . .so fun to join the party!
I’m working on socks, which will probably be used as gifts. I have a Mara shawl on the needles with a mix of leftover sock yarns.
Right now I’m making the second mitten of a Treads set in Berroco Ultra Alpaca Briny, working on Clockwork by Stephen West (Swans Island Fig and Gynx Milford Sound) (oh, the fingering weight and long rows!), trying not to feel guilty about the Snowflake Cowl (Swans Island worsted) I’m (supposed to be)doing for my husband (stranded colorwork is NOT easy the first time), and a Phi shawl. I’m looking forward to starting my first sweater this summer, making a couple of hats (Crag by Jared Flood), and something else by Stephen West. That man is a genius.
Currently working on the TTL MKAL Shawl, a Vicissitude Tank and Cowl, and a modified/enlarged Summer Citrus Bag. Plus, I need to work on at least 1 baby boy hat for a friends baby due at the end of July… then there’s spinning especially with ToDd coming up….
I have started my first Yowza shawl in Berlin .I have your yarn for the second shawl pattern and wouldn’t it be grand to make a third project with your yarn!
