In the space/time continuum, that is! Actually it should be a double-whammy shift as I have not only finished a present before the date it is supposed to be given, but also that I have FINISHED something AT ALL!!! I am an unabashed, admitted serial starter. Since I work here with the prolific colorist workaholic Miss Babs, there is a never ending stream of new colors that I MUST put on needles...and then all the stuff of work and life get in the way of my passionate knitting! I have all these delusions of finished knitted samples for the booth! Babs says that it is my own ADD knitting habits but I disagree...its her fault! Out in the studio now is a pot with something calling to me...I watched her dye it yesterday and I could hear it calling as I was weaving in ends! To me, there is nothing quite so sad as an empty set of circular needles. They want me to cast on and wrap them in lovely color, and I think I will oblige as soon as I get off work! Here are a few oblique pictures of my FO, and you can throw roses if you'd like...I deserve the applause! I can't show the whole shebang as the recipient might see! This is pre-blocking and the pattern is Doublish by Alexandra Tinsley in Yowza Aubergine and A Day at The Blackberry Patch.
