DFW Fiber Fest Show Preview

DFW Fiber Fest Show Preview

We're excited to be returning to Texas for this year's DFW Fiber Fest!

We've curated a special assortment of our yarns and colorways that we think you're going to love. We can't bring everything, so read on to see what's coming.

The short and sweet:
What: DFW Fiber Fest
Where: Irving, Texas; Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas; Booth 121
When: April 5-7, 2019
We're bringing: Yowza, Yowza Mini Trios, Yummy 2-Ply and Toes, Gradient Sets, Crown Wools Sets, Katahdin, Hot Shot, Sojourn, project bags, patterns, garment samples, and a little something extra - a show colorway!

Yowza

Our favorite sweater yarn, Yowza is a DK-weight superwash merino that comes in big 560-yard, 8-ounce skeins. It's super soft, which makes it great for accessories and baby items, too. We're bringing a wide range of colorways so you'll have lots to choose from. Our Yowza sample garments include the Cable Stayed Cardigan, Cedar Bark Raglan pullover, and several knit and crocheted shawls.

Yowza Mini Trios

Get creative with color with Yowza Mini Trios! We've carefully selected 3, 200-yard "mini" skeins of Yowza for these sets. They're great for accessories like The Shift, Whale Watching, and more. Check out our Ravelry bundle of Yowza Mini Trio patterns for more ideas.

Yummy 2-Ply and Toes

Yummy 2-Ply is a truly versatile superwash merino fingering weight yarn in a 400 yard skein. We dye 2-Ply in a rainbow of monochromatic and variegated shades. It's great for all kinds of accessories, but we also have lots of sweater quantities. Toes are 133-yard mini skeins, which are perfect for colorwork and small projects!

Gradient and Crown Wools Sets

Both of these sets are made from our Yummy 2-Ply Toes mini skeins: Gradient Sets contain 6 minis, and Crown Wools Sets include 12. We have several new shawl projects and samples, like Coastal Highway, Cascara, and Knitting with Fronds, to inspire you!

Katahdin

We like big skeins and we cannot lie! Katahdin is 1750 yards of light fingering weight, superwash Bluefaced Leicester. It knits and wears like a dream and is a staff favorite. Try it in a big lightweight cardigan like Sempervirens, a drapey pullover like Tegna (see our sample with modifications for length), or a big and bountiful shawl.

Hot Shot

Last but not least we can't forget our favorite sock yarn, Hot Shot. It's an 80/20 superwash merino/nylon blend, with a nice tight twist that holds up well to wear. We've got a great assortment of bright fun colorways to choose from.

Sojourn

Sojourn is fingering weight, 65% cashmere, 35% silk, 100% swoon-worthy. We love it for luxurious little gifts like cowls… and if you can’t bear to give them away after you’ve made them, we understand ;)

And of course, accessories: we have our cute and fun mini project bags, great for one-skein projects; plain and fancy stitch markers, and enamel pins.

Can't wait to see you at DFW!

I wasn’t able to get the color way this weekend. How can I purchase the show colorway on line?

Donna C

I bought the crown wool set to make the gradient shawl that was hanging up at the Dallas fiber fest and now I can’t find the name of the pattern. It started out raspberry to taupe to grays and purple. Can you tell me the name of the pattern. Thank you. Betsy
