Maryland Sheep & Wool 2026 Preview

We're excited for this year's Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival! This year, the festival is May 2-3. Visit us in the back of the Main Exhibition Hall on the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, Maryland. Get all the information you need on visiting the festival here!

We do our best to bring your favorites, but as you know, it just can't all fit in the booth. Preview what we're bringing to the show, and make sure you're signed up for our email newsletter so you don't miss our online show specials, too!

Here's what's coming to the show...

Yummy 2-Ply, Toes, and Gradient Sets: our most popular yarn is this versatile fingering weight superwash Merino. We'll have a huge rainbow of colors for you, and this year we're also bringing individual Toes mini skeins for you to play with!

We'll have lots of Yowza and Yowza Minis, of course. Our DK superwash Merino comes in two skein sizes (560 and 200 yards) for all your sweater and accessory projects.

New for MDSW this year is Billow, which we introduced last fall. It's a super-light chainette of Pima cotton with alpaca fluff blown in. Billow is soft and so much fun to work with!

Sport weight Laurel Falls is an all-American superwash Shaniko Merino wool. The yarn is round and balanced, perfect for all kinds of projects, and shows off color beautifully!

Killington is our favorite sweater yarn! A non-superwash DK-weight blend of Polwarth wool and silk, it's lofty, soft, holds its shape, and takes color beautifully because of the silk.

Then there's Katahdin. We love the big 16-ounce, 1750-yard skeins (and we love to see you hold them like a yarn baby). We love how rich and deep the colors are on the BFL fiber. This smooth, strong, light fingering weight yarn is great for sweaters, shawls, and more.

Tarte is sleek, glossy, smooth, and surprisingly hardwearing. We love it in socks, shawls, and tops.

Estrellita makes your stitches sparkle with a ply of silvery Lurex running alongside the superwash Merino. Use it for any fingering weight projects that need a flash of glam!

Sojourn is something special, a truly luxurious blend of cashmere and silk that you have to touch. We love it for little accessories.

Festival Specials! We'll have two show colorways both mornings of the show (always a surprise until the day of the festival). We'll also have our new project bags and totes!
