First Frost

Imagine that first heavy frost coating your herbs and fall flowers like yarrow and the last of the lavender. The days are shorter, and we are seeking warmth and comfort. This wide wrap is perfect for the cooler mornings and the cooler evenings of fall and spring. The colors are frosted, neutral-friendly and straight from nature. The fabric is both warm and cool to the touch. Generously sized at 20x75” with 6” Lattice fringe.

Each Loop is created by hand on a rigid heddle loom using a variety of yarns, hand-dyed at Miss Babs. When I’m planning, weaving, and finishing, my goal is to create something unique, wearable and that brings a smile to your face! I weave almost every day, and I especially love to weave outside - a loom with a view! I’m inspired by the colors I see, and combining colors is endlessly fascinating.
