Daisies - MDSW 2021 - Big Silk - Babette

Cheerful and sunshine-bright, Daisies is our second special colorway for the 2021 Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. Petals of yellow, orange, coral-pink, and warm purple are scattered over a natural cream background.

We'll do our best to match multiple skeins. If you have a color you'd prefer to see more of, please let us know in the notes at checkout.

This colorway is a Babette: every skein and every batch is a bit different, but Babs has a method of recreating these artistic colorways. The photograph is an example of representative skeins from this colorway; the skein you receive may differ somewhat. Big Silk

Big and luxurious, Big Silk combines the bounce and warmth of Merino wool with the shine and drape of cultivated silk. The generous yardage means Big Silk is great for big cowls, shawls, and scarves - one skein is enough for most worsted-weight accessory projects. Big Silk is a web exclusive yarn and does not travel with us to shows.

Size: 540 yd / 8.8 oz (494m / 250g) skeins
Content: 60% Merino wool, 40% cultivated silk
Gauge: Worsted weight. 4-5 stitches per inch knit on US 7-9, 3-4 stitches per inch crocheted on US I-K.
Care Instructions: Hand wash, dry flat.
