Huckleberry Ice Cream - Killington 350 - Babette

Scoop up a sweet summertime treat with Huckleberry Ice Cream. Soft creamy lavender is swirled through with rich crushed-berry purple speckles and streaks, plus accents of brown and occasional red and blue pops.

This yarn is speckled: it has a tonal-colored background shade peppered with small dark specks and spots of dye. Each skein is different in terms of speckle distribution and placement. We will do our best to choose multiple skeins that coordinate well.

This colorway is a Babette: every skein and every batch is a bit different, but we have a recipe and a method for recreating these artistic colorways. The photograph is an example of representative skeins from this colorway; the skein you receive may differ somewhat. Killington

Killington is a lofty DK weight blend of Polwarth wool and Tussah silk. It has a subtle sheen, a slightly crisp hand, and excellent wearing qualities. We love Killington for all sorts of sweaters and big squishy shawls and wraps.

Size: 350 yd / 4.2 oz (320m / 120g) skeins
Content: 85% Polwarth wool, 15% Tussah silk.
Gauge: DK weight. 5.25-6 stitches per inch knit on US 5-7, 3-4 stitches per inch crocheted on US 7-I.
Care Instructions: Hand wash, dry flat.
