Breida

Breida is a top-down seamless yoke sweater that is knit in the round. There is a folded ribbed neckline followed by short rows at the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The yoke features stranded colorwork in a Faroese pattern with increases for a comfortable fit. The colorwork pattern continues through the rest of the garment as background colours fade into one another. There is optional waist and hip shaping to add feminine shape achieved by changing needle sizes.
Sample Yarn and Colorway:
Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Yowza in White Peppercorn with Oak Moss, Pallon Beach, Beryl, Dusk, and Wolfsbane.
What You'll Need:
You'll need one skein each of 6 colors of Yowza (plus some extra of the last hem background color, Wolfsbane, in the largest sizes) to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color combination!
