Knitting with Fronds

Designed by Jennifer Weissman

When I think of the Pacific Northwest, I picture lush forests — majestic trees with ferns scampering at their feet. This verdant beauty inspired me to design a shawl with a leafy touch. Knitting with Fronds is an entertaining knit with plenty of relaxing garter stitch and regular changes in color to hold your interest. Knitting with Fronds is ideal for social knitting and travel — the simple stripes make for easy conversation, and you and your companions can admire the lovely color changes together. The finished piece is dramatic and can be worn as either a shawl or a scarf to show off a stunning Miss Babs gradient set.
