The Mija pattern was designed by Kirsten-Michele. Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Yowza in the White Peppercorn colorway with a contrasting Yowza Mini Trio of Ghost Ship, Rise and Shine, and Tucked Away.
Mija (which means "turning or alternating" in Latvian) expresses the beauty of falling snowflakes and sunlight sparkling off crystal fractals. Day alternates to early nights, and autumn gives way to cascading snowflakes and snow-blanketed landscapes. This top-down seamless yoke sweater features stranded colorwork that fades in hue with the interplay of geometric forms inspired by traditional Latvian knitting and crystalline geometry.
You'll need 2-3 skeins of Yowza and three Yowza Minis to complete this project. Choose the original colorway combination below − or try another!
The Mija pattern is available on Ravelry. All patterns are sold separately and not included with the purchase of yarn.
