Selaron

Designed by Beatriz Rubio

The Selaron Cardigan was inspired by the mosaic steps of Lapa, in Rio de Janeiro, created by the Chilean artist Jorge Selarón. In 1990, the artist retiled his front steps with broken tiles in the colors of the Brazilian flag. He continued on with both scavenged and gifted titles, eventually completing over 215 steps measuring over 400 feet.

You'll need 3-4 skeins of Big Silk to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color!
