Stjerne (meaning star in Norwegian) is a top-down seamless yoke sweater. The traditional star shapes based on Norwegian star patterns from the Selbu region reflect the changing of seasons from summer to fall, as the stars begin to glimmer earlier and earlier in the day. The yoke features stranded colorwork with foreground and background colors that transition to highlight the center of the stars. The cuffs complement and echo some of the yoke colorwork and colors. Stjerne is knit in Yowza: the main color is Kobold, accented with Obsidian, Cordovan, Coastal Fog, and Tender.

Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Yowza in Kobold with Yowza Minis in Coastal Fog, Cordovan, Obsidian, and Tender.
What You'll Need:
You'll need 2-3 skeins of Yowza in the main color, plus four contrasting Yowza Minis, to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color combination!
