The Appalachian mountains of eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina are home to Fraser firs - a beautiful evergreen that you might also know as your Christmas tree. Fraser is a medium natural green without tending too much toward blue or yellow.

With a 4-ply construction, Putnam is round and smooth, with the right elasticity and density for socks. Putnam has a smooth matte finish that will show off all your careful stitching.
Size: 400 yd / 3.9 oz (365m / 110g) skeins
Content: 75% superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-9 stitches per inch on US 0-2.
Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle. This yarn should be dried flat for best results.
