This rich teal blue, created especially for the 2019 Book Club, was inspired by the color of the river Severn and the deep blues traditionally associated with medieval art. Our Book Club read the book A Morbid Taste for Bones by Ellis Peters.
Tarte
Tarte is smooth and round, with a balanced 4-ply construction. Nylon and Tencel add strength, sheen, and drape to the superwash Merino in this yarn. Tarte is a beautiful choice for many fingering weight projects, including shawlettes and sweaters where you'll enjoy the generous yardage in each skein. It's also great for socks where you'll enjoy its strength and smoothness.
Size: 500 yd / 4.3 oz (457m / 122g) skeins
Content: 75% superwash Merino wool, 15% Nylon, 10% Tencel.
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-8 stitches per inch knit on US 1-3, 6-8 stitches per inch crocheted on US B-E.
Care Instructions: Machine wash on gentle, dry flat.
