Untamed Palette - 2025 Festive Set - Caroline

Concentrated, complex colors are one of our happiest places to be. It’s also no secret that we love purple, which takes a starring role in this set. We love the bold energy of Henri Matisse and Franz Marc, the bodies of animals and dancers in bright colors pushing against the rectangular confines of the canvas. The Untamed Palette set begins with soft, warm reds, blending into a full range of purples and violets, teal blues, and ends with leafy greens. Each colorway is monochromatic.

Each fingering weight set includes 25 different colors in 80-yard mini skeins, to create a beautiful multicolored project. These sets flow through a long gradient of hues. Caroline is 70% 19.5 micron superwash Merino wool, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon.

You may choose to have your yarn wrapped, for a daily surprise, or unwrapped, to save waste, if that is your preference.

Because the yarn in each set is specially packaged, yarn winding is not available. 

We've put together a Pinterest board of pattern ideas as well as a Ravelry bundle of patterns to help inspire you - these patterns may use only part of the 25 color set, and/or may require a larger skein of a main color, but hopefully, this kick-starts your imagination!

Add a golden yellow like Old Gold or Isfahan to your set to really bring out the primary-color energy of Expressionist and Fauvist artwork, or lean into the blues and purples that anchor this set by adding a lighter cool color like Softly, Crystal Opal, or Quicksilver.
