Folklórico - Yowza Mini - Babette

Folklórico was inspired by the vibrant color and energy of traditional Mexican dance costume. Bright, bold, embroidered or trimmed with ribbon, we love to see these dresses in motion, swirling to the music. Our interpretation of Folklórico dresses on yarn features splashes of hot pink, red-orange, blue deepening to midnight, and purple on a light base. This colorway is highly variable; we'll do our best to choose multiple skeins that match well for you.

This colorway is a Babette: every skein and every batch is a bit different, but we have a recipe and a method for recreating these artistic colorways. The photograph is an example of representative skeins from this colorway; the skein you receive may differ somewhat. Yowza Mini

200-yard "mini" skeins of our flagship yarn, Yowza.

Plied from soft superwash Merino wool, Yowza is excellent for sweaters, accessories, and baby items. Yowza has a smooth hand that works well for textured stitching.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that these 200-yard skeins will match regular skeins of Yowza in the same colorway.

Size: 200 yd / 2.8 oz (182m / 80g) skeins
Content: 100% superwash Merino wool
Gauge: DK weight. 5.25-6 stitches per inch knit on US 5-7, 3-4 stitches per inch crocheted on US 7-I.
Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle. This yarn should be dried flat for best results.
