Back to the studio after our week off!! Many of us went to the beach with family, some of us went to the mountains with friends, and some of us did the Staycation. It sounds like we all had a pretty good time, got rested and relaxed!
And now! It's time to start getting ready for SSK over in Nashville, TN in mid-July and Stitches Midwest in Schaumburg, IL in early August!! Come see us! We'll be doing some new things and have some new colors and project ideas which we will reveal as we get closer!

My friend Judi passed away and I inherited much of her stash. I want to knit one special project to honor her creativity.
I just finished the Boneyard shawl that will be a gift later this year. I am now working on the ZickZack scarf that will be for me since all my projects this year have been Christmas gifts for family lol.
Working on a Barley Hat and of course, socks. Can’t wait to get started on a fingering weight sweater but haven’t decided which one yet…any suggestions?
Under a pile of wool… hot flashes be damned!… you’ll hear me clicking away maniacally on the Silverlake Shirt by Oat Couture, the Margaree Harbour Shawl, and an endless stream of socks of my own shifting design…. There may be a spindle under there too.. It’s hard to tell! :0)
It seems to be baby shower season around here so I am making 3 baby shower gifts. 2 blankets and a dress.
What am I not knitting? Mags9k on Ravelry. I am STILL working on Dreams of Aran…if your husband ever asks for an Aran sweater run screaming! But I did actually just finish Owl Cardigan (think Harry Potter) and Game of Thrones MKAL (I finished that one on time)…as long as you don’t count the fact that both are still waiting to be blocked! I always have at least 5 projects going!
I’m spending the majority of my summer working on two designs of my own. I’m getting bogged down and desperately need a pick me up! Good luck at the shows! I always love your booth. Cheers
I’m working on Jingga the Orange Tabby Cat, and a bunch of other small stuffed animals for friends. Small = no piles of heat in my lap while I work!
