Back to the studio after our week off!! Many of us went to the beach with family, some of us went to the mountains with friends, and some of us did the Staycation. It sounds like we all had a pretty good time, got rested and relaxed!
And now! It's time to start getting ready for SSK over in Nashville, TN in mid-July and Stitches Midwest in Schaumburg, IL in early August!! Come see us! We'll be doing some new things and have some new colors and project ideas which we will reveal as we get closer!

In the meantime, let's do a giveaway! The giveaway is one skein of Hot Shot! Color is winner's choice! Leave a comment about what summer knitting you are doing (or not doing) here on the blog by midnight PST on June 23. We'd love it of you can include the name of the pattern, 'cause we like to know what people are knitting!
Edited to Add: I've just emailed the winner. Congratulations, Chanda! We hope you enjoy your Hot Shot!

I’ve had cast-on-itis lately. Knitting lots of shawls, some sock, and a couple of summer tanks/tees.
I just finished doing Martina Behm’s “Brickless” using Yowza (Into the Void) and the Swans Island "Lattice Cowl in K2 (Across the Universe.) Now I am working on a scarf for one of my sons called “Dudester” and am using Heartland (Sable.) Knitting with Miss Babs yarn always takes me to a happy place. :)
Hi, thank you for doing the giveaway! I’m knitting the Marin shawl by Ysolda Teague for a bridal shower and Screen Door shawl by the Plucky Knitter for my daughter. Next up is Yowza Weigh It Shawl #3 by Susan B Anderson in Spread Your Wings for me!
Yowsa! I just can’t get enough of these shawls! Lol! Couldn’t resist.
I’m knitting Broadband in Kunlun Volcanic eruption and the Baguette wrap in K2. Kunlun is just amazing! It’s so soft and the stitch def. is beautiful. K2 is the best chunky weight I have ever worked with!
I’m working on Ardent for Camp Loopy, Grapes Shrug for a FB KAL, and You’re Beautiful for a ravelry KAL….I want to knit some socks in the new hot shot yarn! Thanks for the giveaway! ???
I love to knit socks in the summer! They are small and easy to bring to the beach.
I am knitting the rose city rollers socks. I just finished the Brickless using zombie prom.
I am knitting socks this summer and going to be knitting up a top down poncho. The pattern for the poncho is in Italian and I hope Google helped be translate enough, lol. I have a general idea of the construction so it should be good!
I am finishing up a hitchhiker shawl and trying to decide on what to make next. Love the colors and especially the blue.
