Back to the studio after our week off!! Many of us went to the beach with family, some of us went to the mountains with friends, and some of us did the Staycation. It sounds like we all had a pretty good time, got rested and relaxed!
And now! It's time to start getting ready for SSK over in Nashville, TN in mid-July and Stitches Midwest in Schaumburg, IL in early August!! Come see us! We'll be doing some new things and have some new colors and project ideas which we will reveal as we get closer!

About to leave on vacation, so I’m taking a couple of skeins of yarn from my stash and Martina Behm’s new pattern, Fractal Danger.
I am knitting Auburn Wave….I love shawls all year round.
I’m knitting on a scarf for my mom just using a lace pattern out of one of my stitch libraries, and a Woven shawl out of some Yowza in the Masquerade colorway.
I am furiously working on Not a Cloud wrap using a silk lace yarn. It’s a wedding gift (Sept 5 wedding) and I added two repeats to the width and beads to the pattern. I am trying to power through it so I can do my second destination shawl from Miss Babs Tour!
I just finished a baby blanket (four days before the kidlet’s first birthday… what can I say, it was a rough year). Now I’m knitting a scarf for my husband in a 3×3 rib. It’s the first time he’s asked me to knit him something—before, he said I should NOT knit him anything because he didn’t like wool. Then he found a sample at a trunk show and decided some wool was OK. :-)
I’m working on socks and a winter shawl for my Mom(maybe, if I can part with it. Lol)
I am currently mainly not knitting a generic pair of socks for my sweetheart and wanting to start another Deep End!
