Purple Mountains - SAFF 2021 - Big Silk - Babette

For our 2021 return to SAFF, Babs has developed a majestic, delightful purple show colorway! Purple Mountains is a warm medium purple with some areas of pink or gray, speckled with cool deep violet.

Big Silk

Big and luxurious, Big Silk combines the bounce and warmth of Merino wool with the shine and drape of cultivated silk. The generous yardage means Big Silk is great for big cowls, shawls, and scarves - one skein is enough for most worsted-weight accessory projects. Big Silk is a web exclusive yarn and does not travel with us to shows.

Size: 540 yd / 8.8 oz (494m / 250g) skeins
Content: 60% Merino wool, 40% cultivated silk
Gauge: Worsted weight. 4-5 stitches per inch knit on US 7-9, 3-4 stitches per inch crocheted on US I-K.
Care Instructions: Hand wash, dry flat.
