Growing Green

This scarf is the green of growth...not as bright as brand new emerging plants, and not at all dark, like the mature greens of summer. The length has some color variation, and the weaving has some visual furrows and gathered bouquets. Calm and simple, a welcome gentle pop of color during your wait for spring to arrive. It measures 10x75” with 6 inch twisted fringe on both ends.

Each Loop is created by hand on a rigid heddle loom using a variety of yarns, hand-dyed at Miss Babs. When I’m planning, weaving, and finishing, my goal is to create something unique, wearable and that brings a smile to your face! I weave almost every day, and I especially love to weave outside - a loom with a view! I’m inspired by the colors I see, and combining colors is endlessly fascinating.
