Party Favors - Katahdin 437 - Babette

Happy Birthday, Babs! Party Favors is our special birthday colorway for 2021. Shades of blue, purple, green, and yellow pop and blend across the skeins, with occasional natural cream showing through.

Skeins of Party Favors will be difficult to match in large quantities - please be aware of this when ordering! We'll do our best to match multiple skeins. If you have a color you'd prefer to see more of, please let us know in the notes at checkout.

This colorway is a Babette: every skein and every batch is a bit different, but Babs has a method of recreating these artistic colorways. The photograph is an example of representative skeins from this colorway; the skein you receive may differ somewhat. Katahdin 437

A lighter fingering weight than our Yummy 2-Ply, Katahdin 437 is spun from the long, lustrous wool of Bluefaced Leicester sheep. BFL is a perfect canvas for Babs’ colors, giving the yarn a rich depth and slightly glossy finish. It's great for durable, fine-gauge socks, and lovely in crisp lacy shawlettes.

Size: 437 yd / 3.5 oz (400m / 100g) skeins
Content: 100% superwash Bluefaced Leicester wool
Gauge: Fingering weight. 8-10 stitches per inch on US 0-2.
Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle, dry flat.
