Like the iridescence in a starling’s black feathers, Starling is black with a plum undertone. It is best paired with warm colors. For a more natural almost-black, choose Obsidian; for a cooler black, try Blackbird.

Tarte is smooth and round, with a balanced 4-ply construction. Nylon and Tencel add strength, sheen, and drape to the superwash Merino in this yarn. Tarte is a beautiful choice for many fingering weight projects, including shawlettes and sweaters where you'll enjoy the generous yardage in each skein.
