Mad for Plaid - PDF Weaving Pattern

Designed as a framework to showcase Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply Toes and your favorite colors, Mad for Plaid is an excellent opportunity to go wild and crazy with color, or soft and gentle. One color will serve as an anchor in your warp, and allow a wide range of other colors to play together in the weft.

You'll need a total of 5 Toes, two in the main color, and three contrast colors, to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below - or try another color combination! This is also a great project for using up scraps or experimenting with color combinations. We've selected a few color combinations for you to start with on the blog, but here, the sky is really the limit! Shown in Mad for Plaid Combo 1 and Combo 2.

This pattern is written for a rigid heddle loom at 12 epi.

Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply Toes (100% superwash Merino wool; 133 yards/1.3 oz 121.25 meters/37g)

2 skeins - Obsidian
1 skein - Zing
1 skein - Ghoulish
1 skein - Clematis

Finished Measurements:
With Fringe: 77” X 6 ¾” (195.5cm X 17.25cm)
Without Fringe: 65” X 6 ¾” (165.25cm X 17.25cm)
